R3 Certifying Organizations
THE GREEN CLEANING NETWORK was formed in 2006 as a 501-C3 not-for-profit group to help eliminate confusion about green cleaning. Among the founding members are The Healthy Schools Campaign, Hospitals for a Healthy Environment, The U.S. Green Building Council, International Executive Housekeepers Association and the Responsible Purchasing Network. The group’s intention is to bring concerned parties into the network and share information on green cleaning. It will provide a place where issues faced by the cleaning industry can be addressed, and be a venue for concerned parties to discuss the credibility of specific industry organizations. They will not certify anything.
